Group Management

Goal

Use groups to manage users, SaaS sites, workspaces, internal sites, permissions, cloud browser proxies, and cloud browser isolated networks.

Prerequisites

  • Users, sites, workspaces, internal sites, permissions, cloud browser proxies, and isolated-network browser instances are already created as needed.
  • Your account has group management permissions.

Steps

  1. Go to "Group Management > Group List".
  2. Use the search box to find groups by keyword, or click "Reset" to clear the filter.
  3. Click "Add Group" and enter a required group name.
  4. In the group list, use "Edit" to rename a group or "Delete" to remove it after confirmation.
  5. Use "Users" to add or remove group members.
  6. Use "Saas Sites" to authorize accessible sites and account categories.
  7. Use "Workspaces" to authorize all accounts for a site or selected accounts.
  8. Use "Inner Sites" to authorize internal business systems.
  9. Use "Privileges" to grant required feature permissions.
  10. Use "Cloud Browser Proxies" to grant proxy nodes that group users can select.
  11. Use "Cloud Browser Isolated Networks" to authorize isolated-network browser instances for the group. Select the required browser entries by Chrome ID, IP, and network slot, then click "Save".

Verification

  • Group users only see authorized sites, internal sites, and workspaces.
  • The proxy selector only shows authorized cloud browser proxies.
  • Isolated-network browser options only include cloud browser isolated networks authorized for the group.
  • Admin menus and actions are controlled by roles and group permissions.

FAQ

  • Groups are useful for departments, projects, customers, and external access scenarios.
  • Users may need to refresh or log in again after group changes.
  • Workspace authorization should be handled carefully because it grants account access.
  • Isolated-network authorization only applies to browser instances configured with Isolated Network mode.
